I am not a monk
And That Matters
My path to this work was non-linear. I spent years in investment banking at Lehman Brothers before pursuing a PhD in science at ETH Zurich, where I researched financial crises and how complex systems behave at the edge of collapse. I later served as Chairwoman of The Klosters Forum, an environmental non-profit bringing together leaders, thinkers, and changemakers to accelerate positive change across industries.
Alongside all of this, I maintained a practice: more than 25 years of meditation, eventually training as a mindfulness teacher under Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
What I discovered, slowly and then all at once, is that the inner and outer world are not separate. The quality of our awareness shapes how we lead, relate, and respond to complexity. Meaningful change begins within.
That understanding is the foundation of everything I do.
